Namaa Association for Substainable Developement
Namaa is the  result of field research done during summer school at the faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. A group of young people studied the existence of a gap between the needs of organizations, institutions, and NGOs working in development and the capabilities of young people interested in contributing to working in development. People are interested but often not qualified enough to contribute to change in the community development and work in this field. Namaa focuses on the national development process in Egypt and at the same time promotes contacts and dialogue with foreign youths and academics active in similar projects as a way of enhancing South-South and North-South dialogue. It functions as a catalyst for increasing the employability of youth in the field of development, thereby building capacities among the academics as well as development organizations involved in the process, and close the gap between the NGOs' needs for qualified human resources and the training and capacity building offered.
